The second type "Dupré", more massive and based on the module of the Constitutional double sol, was produced in quantity for half a dozen years and circulated until the 1850s and was gradually replaced by the coins of Napoleon III.
Certain vintages and workshops are rare or even very rare. There are a large number - not exhaustive - of varieties, errors and typing problems of all kinds, ranging from the simple re-engraving of a number to an error in the placement of letters in the legends.
